FynArts Festival Wine Experience

The FynArts Festival is certainly not only for the Art & Entertainment Connoisseurs out there but also for foodies and those whom enjoy the majestic views and divine wines along the R320 wine route.

The route boasts some of the finest wine farms and eateries in the Overberg. The wine route features 17 wine producers with premium quality wines on offer.

The scenic 20 kilometre road not only meanders to the front gates and tasting rooms of some of the most prominent wine brands in our country, but also gives tourist the opportunity to enjoy the spectacular vistas of vineyards and fynbos clad mountain ranges that form the Hemel-en Aarde Valley with an awe-inspiring view of the Atlantic Ocean.

The wine farms feature some of our country’s best Pinot Noir’s, Chardonnays and Sauvignon Blancs. Galleries and several wine farms along the Hemel-en-Aarde Wine Route (such as Hamilton Russell, Creation, La Vierge and Ataraxia) host art exhibitions and other special events such as painting classes and wine tastings.

The wine route can be reached just 2,4 kms from Mountain View Manor where the R43 to Hermanus and the R320 to Caledon intersect at the entrance to the wine route starting at Hermanuspietersfontein and the Hemel-en-Aarde Village.

You don’t have to wait until the FynArts Festival in June to discover and experience our Beautiful Overberg – put it in your diary and join us for a wonderful weekend away.
