Our beautiful walk along the Cliff Path in Hermanus

Geoff and I decided to explore the cliff path between The Marine Hotel and Grotto Beach, it was truly breath taking boasting incredible fauna and flora and stunning ocean views.

Camera bag packed we set off to the Cliff Path along the coast line in Hermanus. We had just started our walk when we spotted a Southen Right Whale and her calf playing in the bay, all the fellow spotters were buzzing with excitement and camera's clicked all around us. Once the whales moved on we set off again.

The walk is only 6 kms long with undulating climbs and hidden beaches, the fauna and flora is also so beautiful and unique. On our walk we even discovered a memorial sign for "Baby Dick" a whale that passed away in Hermanus. We had a leisurely walk along the cliffs all the way down to Grotto Beach where we enjoyed a scrumptious Sunday Lunch at Dutchies. Not wanting to walk back after wining and dining we called the Tuk Tuk to give us a ride back to The Marine Hotel. The perfect way to spend a Sunday.
