Hermanus in the Western Cape is famous for its abundance of fynbos and plant life. Nature lovers from far and wide flock to our town to behold the beauty of Mother Nature.

Once you walk among the tall trees you feel as if you are wrapped in the arms of Mother Nature.

Trickling water falls, fresh air, the lush surroundings, tannin tainted pools, an abundance of plant species - these are just a couple of alluring reasons why you should adorn your hiking shoes and enjoy what the Fernkloof Nature Reserve has to offer.

One of our favourite spots is the Beautiful “Drie Damme” also known as the Mossel Rivier Dams.

A well-kept secret to out of Towner's – Hiking up the Fernkloof Valley Nature Reserve you are welcomed by the amazing scenery and the fresh waters of one of the three dams – Perfect for a splash and a picnic after a hike up the “kloof”.
